Where are we

Where are We: Hotel, Sardinia, Gallura. Hotel and Facilities. Your Sardinian holiday will be unforgettable.

Rooms Hotel Frassetto | Sardinia | Porto Pozzo di Santa Teresa di Gallura

Beyond the beaches:

Porto Pozzo

The Hotel is located in the north of Sardinia, in Gallura, in Porto Pozzo. It is located between Santa Teresa di Gallura and Palau , at 11 km from both.

“Legend has it that the natural inlet was identified as the Bay of the Lestrigoni, the place where Ulysses met the Lestrigoni.”

There are many other fun things to do aside from soaking up the sun on one of the beautiful beaches in the area. First of all, we recommend a trip to the islands. There are boats departing from Porto Pozzo daily but it’s preferable to book a few days in advance. If this is something you’d like to do and you’d wish to have more options, visiting the Palau port the previous evening is recommended as you’ll find stands that sell a variety of trips on a selection of different boats to satisfy all budgets. Alternatively, you can arrive at Palau port at 9AM and see what is available on the day (the tour usually departs at around 10AM).

If you’d prefer to rent a rubber dinghy I recommend you do it locally in Porto Pozzo as the road for the islands of the archipelago La Maddalena is shorter.

The wonderful

Beaches

The surrounding area will surprise you with its wonderful beaches: long stretches of white sand, rugged hidden coves, granite rocks with bizzare forms, sparkling pebbles of quartz and crystal clear waters with a thousand shades of green and turquoise make the beaches of Sardinia an unmissable destination for all the sea lovers.

Near the Hotel you’ll find wonderful beaches and inlets: the area offers tourists the opportunity to choose a beach every day, with different characteristics and reachable within a few minutes by car. Boats also leave from the village to visit the Maddalena archipelago, with its marvelous white sand beaches and crystal clear sea.
